Earth Hour at KU halls

EARTH HOUR is a global movement. Energy saving events will be happening all across the world to show that we all have the power to change climate change.
Kingston University will be celebrating Earth Hour by having a mass switch-off event to raise awareness about climate change as well as saving energy. All students, especially those in halls of residence, are asked to switch off their lights and electronic appliances for the entire hour.

Students have the chance to learn more about Local and National Politics at this event where debate will take place between prospective local parliamentary candidates competing to represent Kingston and Surbiton, from Green Party, Labour, the Liberal Democrats, the Conservative Party and UKIP.
